NGS® Obwegeser Bone Awl is used for suturing the arch in ortho surgery or in facial trauma. The overall length of the awl is 18 cm. It has a double ring handle to provide dexterity for the operator during the twisting manipulations. The shaft is sturdy and slightly curved to follow the contour of the bone, and ends with a sharp pointed blade that is used for wire insertion and stabilization. It is recommended to use a fresh awl for every wire or suture.
