

NGS® Kielland Midwifery Forcep are also called rotatory forceps and are used to expedite delivery due to fetal distress, malpresentation, malposition of the fetus, Antepartum hemorrhage and maternal collapse. The instrument comprises of two separate angled blades with handles, shanks, and jaws. The obstetrician gently inserts the forceps into the vagina and rotates the baby to allow the fetal descent. She then pulls the baby gently to expedite the delivery.
