OBSTETRIC FORCEP WRIGLEY

NGS® Wrigley Obstetrical Forcep are mid cavity forceps that are designed to aid delivery when the baby is higher in the vagina during fetal distress, maternal exhaustion, antepartum hemorrhage and intrauterine uterine death. The Wrigley Obstetrical Forceps has an overall length of 28 cm with two jaws that are attached by a detachable lock to handles. The instrument has long shanks to reach the mid cavity of the vagina and retrieve the baby. During delivery the obstetrician gently inserts the blades around the head of the fetus and clicks the lock into space. Gentle traction is applied to slowly pull the baby out of the vagina.
