KRISTELLER VAGINAL RETRACTOR
NGS® Kristeller Vaginal retractor is a hand held retractor used to examine the walls of the vagina during pelvic examination, cervical examination, pap smears, cervical cytology and vaginal biopsy. The instrument consists of a single flat blade that is attached to a handle which is used to retract the lateral walls of the vagina. The instrument is available in a variety of blade sizes. The surgeon gently inserts the Kristeller Vaginal retractor into the vagina with the non-dominant hand and retracts the vaginal wall to examine the mucosa.
