MATHIEU RECTAL SPECULUM
NGS® Mathieu Rectal Speculum is used in outpatient rectal examination as well as surgeries on rectum and anus including fistulotomy, anal tear repair, hemorrhoidectomy, band ligation and rectal biopsy. The instrument consists of three prongs that can be inserted into the anus and then dilated using the pivoted spring mechanism up to a diameter of 2 inches. The surgeon can then lock the instrument in place using the screw lock.
