KERRISON PUNCH 40 DEGREE DOWN

NGS® Kerrison Punch is a multipurpose surgical punch that is used in a multitude of neurosurgical and bone procedures, like laminectomy procedures, where the hand-held device is used to cut pieces of bone and thick soft tissues. It consists of two flat spring-handles, a shaft that is at a 90 degree angle with the handles, and two punching blades. One blade is fixed and the other is made to slide in the antero-posterior direction by pressing the handles. The projection in the posterior handle fits between the thumb and index fingers of the operator to improve the force exerted, and we added an angle in the anterior handle to enhance the device’s grasp and dexterity. This version has a 40 degree Down angled tip, and is available in different bite sizes.
